Cal Cunningham for Senate (NC)

Cal Cunningham
As a Captain in the Army Reserves who served for a year in Iraq and as a former State Senator, Cal Cunningham is a fighter for North Carolinians. Cal Cunningham has officially announced today that he wants to take the fight for North Carolina's middle-class to the U.S. Senate. Cal says that North Carolina has seen its jobs go overseas for far too long, and that is why he has put together detailed plans on how to revitalize North Carolina's economy and create long lasting jobs for the middle-class. Cal feels finding solutions to problems, creating jobs, standing for veterans and seniors, and standing up for North Carolina's families should always come before party and ideology. National Polling Summary
Welcome to the Anzalone Liszt Research National Polling Summary, a quick look at national public polls detailing key political environmental measures as well as attitudes of voters on the pressing issues of the week.

With 63% of voters saying that lawmakers should keep trying to pass a comprehensive health care reform plan it is clear that voters still see the need to change the healthcare system and want it to happen this year. As the political environment has changed, Democrats no longer enjoy the comfortable lead on the generic ballot that they once did and are now at parity with Republicans. But all is not lost.  Voters still feel that Obama and Democrats are trying to work with the Republicans much more than the Republicans are trying to work with them.  And Obama and Democrats still have an advantage, as small as it may be, on the trust meter with voters.

Enjoy,

John Anzalone and Jeff Liszt
