National Polling Summary

Welcome to the Anzalone Liszt Research National Polling Summary, a quick look at national public polls detailing key political environment measures as well as attitudes of voters on the pressing issues of the week.  We hope that this summary will be helpful to you and your clients.

Health care reform is the hot issue and voters are often contradictory on this complex topic. While people are highly satisfied with their own health insurance, they are increasingly dissatisfied with the healthcare system.  While people want to help those who are uninsured, they are even more concerned with getting their own healthcare costs down.  Add in taxes to fund healthcare reform and things get even fuzzier.  The growing budget deficit is also taking on a bigger concern for voters and it will be interesting in how it plays into the political dynamics of healthcare.

Enjoy, John Anzalone
