Yom Yerushalayim
The talmidim celebrated Yom Yerushalayim starting with a Tefilat Maariv Chagigit. The talmidim went to Yeshivat Mercaz Harav Kook to participate in their Chagigah. They then danced through the streets of Yerushalayim all the way to the Kotel for Tefilat Shacharit K'Vatikin.
During the day, the talmidim joined 100,000 other Jews and danced through the streets of Yerushalayim again all the way to the Kotel for a concert at the Kotel Plaza.

La'g Ba'Omer
On Motzei Shabbos Lag'G Ba'Omer, the talmidim travelled by bus to Meron to sing, dance,
and daven next to the Kever of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochi. They then returned to Yeshiva, had
a short rest, and played a few basketball intramural games. For dinner, the talmidim were given
a special treat. Rav Kfir Dadon, one of our on-campus rebbeim, performed a Shchitah on a
sheep. During the process, he taught the talmidim many of the intricate laws of shchitah. Mo
Berman, our director of culinary services, roasted the sheep on an open fire and the talmidim
all ate to their hearts content.
