This past week the talmidim helped pack food packages to be given out to poor families. Jacob Schiff holding up a completed package.  Meir Areman and Michael Kosowsky filling a package. Eilat Tiyul
Last week, the Yeshiva went on its annual 3 day trip to Eilat. The talmidim went on two hikes, including the very difficult Har Shlomo and Ein Ovdat, visited Ben Gurion's Kever, and went banana boating and tubing. The talmidim were accompanied by the madrichim, the Av Bayit, Avi Goldberg with his wife, Rav Zvi Herman, Rav Yehuda Mirsky, Rav Lavey Freedman and Moe Berman. The talmidim climbing Har Shlomo.  Aaron Zelka, Gavriel Averick, Josh Polevoy, and Akiva Leidner on top of Har Shlomo.  Josh Polevoy and Michael Goldman on top of Har Shlomo. Rav Isaacson Vaad in Y.U.
This past week, Rav Isaacson gave a Mevaseret vaad to the alumni in
Yeshiva University. The bogrim enjoyed the Torah as well as the
delicious refreshments. Many thanks to Yehuda Safier for organizing the vaad and to Dovi Shenkman and David Pinelas for hosting the event.

Safrut Class
Under the guidance of Rav Kfir Dadon, some of the talmidim are learning Safrut during
their afternoon seder. The Yeshiva is extremely proud of Joseph "Yoey" Feigenbaum for
completing his Megillah.

Rabbi Gav Friedman
Rabbi Gav Friedman, a lecturer at Aish Hatorah, gave a shiur to the talmidim. The shiur was on the topic of working on one's midos specifically regarding arrogance and anger.   |
Superbowl!!
One of the highlights of the year is watching the Superbowl together
as a Yeshiva. First, the talmidim were treated to 3 outstanding shiurim
by Rav Lavey, Rav Pizem, and Rav Burg. The talmidim then proceeded
down to the Chadar Ochel, where Moe had set up the superbowl on a big
projection screen as well as a huge shmorgasbord of wings, hot dogs,
chicken fingers, schwarma and french fries.
