Lake Ridge Park offering

Moonlight Canoe or Kayak Paddle

Around Occoquan Reservoir

Woodbridge, VA (June 27, 2011) - Lake Ridge Park is offering an opportunity to view wildlife and park scenery by the moonlight. Participants can choose between a canoe and a kayak, and then paddle around the Occoquan Reservoir. Opportunities for this hour-long twilight adventure are July 15th at 7:30 p.m. or Aug 13th at 6:30 p.m. Children age 10 to 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Boats cost $20 per person.Register online a week in advance at http://www.pwcparks.org/.

Registered participants should arrive thirty minutes early.

 

Lake Ridge Park is located at 12350 Cotton Mill Drive in Woodbridge.
