(March 25, 2011) The Prince William County Park Authority Board has awarded Billy Casper Golf, LLC., a five year contract to manage the Park Authority's three 18 hole golf courses.  In a unanimous decision of the Park Authority Board, Billy Casper Golf will take over the management, including the customer service aspects, of Forest Greens Golf Course, Dumfries, Va., General's Ridge Golf Club, Manassas, Va., and Prince William Golf Course, Haymarket, Va., beginning in May 2011. 
 

After an extensive eight month Request for Proposal and management services review process, Billy Casper Golf, LLC., was chosen by the Park Authority as the premier company to provide the management services for the PWC Park Authority's golf courses. 

The Park Authority has provided golf as a public recreation opportunity in Prince William County since 1979.  The publically owned golf facilities offer Prince William resident's quality golf programs and the community's youth the opportunity to develop a life-long recreational sport. County high school teams have used Park Authority courses for practice and competition since 1996. The courses are also used by The First Tee Program, which teaches youth 9 core life values, building citizenship for our next generation of leaders.
