Manassas, VA (February 24, 2011) - The Prince William County Park Authority announces the reopening of Generals Ridge Golf Course, on Tuesday, March 1st. The golf course, located at 9701 Manassas Drive, Manassas, VA 20111, has been closed since January 1, 2011.
The Park Authority closed the golf course for two months, in order to perform much needed maintenance work. Severe weather conditions over the past year, caused significant damage to trees throughout the course. A number of trees were brought completely down and had to be removed. The maintenance work focused on improving the health of the forest surrounding the golf course, as well as improve playability for the golf customer.
