Annual Fund

  • TC is self-supporting, relying on tuition and donations for operating revenue. Your gift to TC is more important than ever.
  • TC has the lowest tuition among Tampa's Catholic high schools to keep TC affordable to more families.
  • Tuition covers only 94% of the true cost to educate a TC student.

  • 33% of our families receive more than $500,000 in need based tuition assistance. More families have applied for assistance than we were able to help.

Show your support of Tampa Catholic through your donation to the Crusader Annual Fund. Every gift (no matter the amount) is valued and essential.

Today's TC students are the tomorrow's leaders, educators, doctors, and artists. Right now they need you!

Crusader Candidates
TC Alums working towards success in prominent 2012 political races across Hillsborough County and Florida.
Have you noticed some familiar names in the news and on signs around town? That may be because three TC alumni are running for political offices this year and another has clinched the job without opposition.
Doug Belden '72, Hillsborough County's tax collector was elected in November 1998 to fill the unexpired term of Melvin Smith. Doug brought both private and public sector experience to the office. His goal as tax collector was simple: To save taxpayers money through consolidation and efficiency and while improving service at the branch offices. His objective is to make the Hillsborough County Tax Collector's Office the most modern and efficient office in the state. He has already started by cutting the agency's $15 million budget, reducing the number of high-paid executives and updating and modernizing the branch offices. He has been automatically re-elected with no opposition. Great job, Doug.
Craig Latimer '70 is competing for the job of Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections where he has been the office Chief of Staff since 2009. Criag has led the turnaround in the office and restored confidence and integrity. He has been in public service his entire adult life, having retired from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office as a Staff Commander with 35 years of experience heading up major criminal investigations. Craig has served on TC's Consultative Board, for several years as a committee member and as Chairman. He is the only candidate who has run an election. He faces a primary on August 14, 2012. More about CrWallaceaig
Robert Wallace '70 has entered the race for the Florida State Senate and is hoping to gain the Republican nomination from the new District 17 in a primary on August 14th. Rob has served eight years in the Florida House of Representatives, where he earned a reputation as a fiscal conservative, a budget watcher, and a tax cutter. Rob founded Environmental Engineering Consultants, Inc. in 1979. EEC is a civil and environmental engineering firm working with builders, property owners, manufacturers, and governments to comply with environmental regulations. More about Rob
Bobby
Bob Henriquez '82, always a TC household name, especially during the football season, has thrown his hat into the ring to head the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser's Office. Bob "Coach" Henriquez is a fourth generation Florida native, born and raised in Tampa. Bob completed his fourth and final term in the Florida Legislature in 2006 as a State Representative for District 58. He was known as a hard-working, reasonable member that was willing to work in a bi-partisan manner for the good of the people of the State of Florida. In 2011, Tampa Catholic awarded Bob its "Templar Hall of Fame Award" which is the highest honor the school bestows. Bob was graduated from Princeton University in 1986 (the first Tampa Catholic Alumni to do so). More about Bob
