Greetings Screening Site Coordinators,

I hope this note finds you well and as excited about PCAW 2009 as we are! Last week we sent out hard copies of the 2009 registration forms, order form and a general information letter. In the event that you have not received your packet, I've included the information in this newsletter for your perusal, including reminder dates, links to forms and other miscellaneous information.

Below you will find a registration form and order form, please review and fax (303-320-3835) any changes back to the PCEC by July 1, 2009. Once we process your completed registration form you will be scheduled to receive the PCAW 2009 media kit in July.  If you need something urgent regarding PCAW, please let me know and I will try to get it out to you as soon as possible.

Again, thank you for your continued support of Prostate Cancer Awareness Week. If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please contact us at 866-477-6788 or by email at Nicole.weiffenbach@prostateconditions.org.

We hope you have decided to continue to participate in the PCAW program and look forward to working with you this year.

Thank you!

Prostate Cancer Awareness Week 2009 Screening Site Registration

Prostate Cancer Awareness Week will take place September 20-26, 2009
At the Prostate Conditions Education Council (PCEC) we have been working to develop many new educational materials that will help inform men and women about the risks associated with Prostate Cancer, and the importance of annual screening for the disease.

The PCEC not only encourages prostate screenings, but also overall men's health awareness to lessen the risk of prostate cancer. In 2009, as with the other years, each day of PCAW will bring attention to a specific facet of men's health directly relating to prostate cancer. The six days are:

Monday, September 21 - General Prostate Cancer Awareness Day
Tuesday, September 22 - Advanced Prostate Cancer Awareness Day
Wednesday, September 23 - Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)         Awareness Day
Thursday, September 24 - Women, Families & Caregivers Day
Friday, September 25 - Know Your Numbers Day
Saturday, September 26 - On the Horizon Day

To learn more about this year's PCAW visit www.prostateconditions.org.  In addition, you can also learn more about other national prostate cancer awareness events led by the PCEC, including the Tackle Prostate Cancer Campaign, which connects NFL teams with prostate cancer awareness efforts, and the PACE Race 5K run/walk series, with events scheduled across the country for 2009.
