A SUMMARY OF SUCCESS
SAVING LIVES AND RAISING AWARNESS IN 2008
sharp We are exited to have reached more than 200 million people last year with our important messages on prostate cancer.   Gen. Colin Powell continues to lead our team of celebrity spokesmen, including Joe Theismann, Tony Romo, former Phillies third baseman Mike Schmidt, NASCAR champ Kyle Petty and NBA coach Chuck Daly.  Additonally, the Prostate Cancer Awareness Week program has screened nearly 4 million men for prostate cancer and other men's health issues since the program was founded and remains the worlds leading screening event.

SCREENING SITE  PARTICIPATION OPTIONS
THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SCREENING
SITES - PICK THE ONE THAT IS BEST FOR YOU.

Screening Site lists their screening on the PCAW website and on the PCAW phone locator. The simple final report form indicating the number of hours and some demographic information about the men screened as well as the number of abnormal DRE's and PSA's is returned to the PCEC at the end of your screening.

Tracking Site returns the screening questionnaire forms, sends a list of their PSA results to the PCEC and completes the final report form. *

Longitudinal Study Site fully utilizes the PAW program by returning the screening questionnaire forms to the PCEC, sending blood samples to the central lab for PSA and cPSA processing and returning the final report form. These sites often participate in research projects.
