Class Announcements

SALE PRICES EXTENDED UNTIL MONDAY, JUNE 25

Dear Writer,

I am excited to let everyone know about our country-wide screenwriting classes. In addition to our two Champion Lab sessions in Los Angeles in August, we also have my most immersive and intense class ever: the weeklong Champion Retreat in Taos, New Mexico.

We might even be able to get an East Coast class off the ground in less than a month. Some clients and friends are helping me set up a workshop in Richmond, VA. This is where I need your help. If you want to come to the class, you have to act now.

Place a $50 deposit on the 3- or 5-day Richmond class by Saturday and you will not only save $100 from the regular price, you will give the class a chance. I need a few more students to sign-up to green-light the class. If that doesn't happen, four days from now - on Sunday - I will immediately refund the payments.

If it goes, winners of the Champion Lab from the contest will have alternate dates to attend. Follow us on Facebook to find out the fate of the Richmond Class. And, remember, all 2011 Champion Entrants receive at least a $50 discount.

Here are the dates for our upcoming classes and the tentative Richmond class. The discount deadline is Monday, June 25. Click on the links or scroll down for more information.

7-DAY AND 5-DAY CHAMPION SCREENWRITING RETREAT

IN TAOS, NEW MEXICO

with Jim Mercurio

Early Bird Deadline and Discount Extended Until Monday, June 25

A Deposit Will Hold the Discounted Price Until September 15

There is Only Room for Eight students.

My goal for the 7-day retreat is simply to provide writers with the best screenwriting workshop in the world. Interspersed with 30 hours of personalized lecture based on the participants' scripts, there will be time and space for writers to apply the principles to their scripts and receive feedback on the spot.

200 Individual Screening Rooms

All writers will have interaction with me about their script before the retreat. But here's a deal for a writer who wants to create a six- to twelve-month experience out of it. Writers who sign up for Mentoring and the Taos Retreat this month will receive a $400 discount and a free pass to any of the Los Angeles, Richmond or other classes I have within the next six months. There will also be a chance to meet one-on-one in one of several places in the country over the course of the next year. That's 100 hours of work on your script(s).

This Writing Team Just Signed Up!

My classes are usually exhausting because I want to cover so much material. This format - where you will have a few evenings of meeting or optional lectures - allows for some breathing room. There will be plenty of opportunities for one-on-one interaction. If you want to do the tourist thing, plan to spend a few extra days after the class. However, if class votes for it unanimously, we can take a hot air balloon ride down the Rio Grande on Wednesday morning. ALL IN THE SAME BASKET!

It's not Procrastination if We All Go

Save up to $700 by making your deposit now. You are locked into the current price as long as you pay the balance by September 15.

With my new DVD set debuting in a week or so, this may be the last chance to hear this class live. Taos is one of the most beautiful places in the world and I am going to work hard to make this one of the most important moments in your writing life.
