Greetings!

A-List's Facebook Community helped me put together an experimental scene writing class.

All you do is submit a scene as PDF and then attend one optional online session.

I comment on the scenes, put them together and return them and then the fun begins.

I'll send links to and analysis Tube scenes that display principles relevant to the class.

Feedback, randomness, YouTube fun and a little e-get-together. Who could ask for more?  Paypal, PDF, Presto!

I gotta fill two seats.  If you like the class, you can apply the $39 toward an analysis next month.

Sign up with one or two scenes.  And enjoy some of the links below that will help with your scene writing.

Hope to see you online.

HOW TO SIGN UP
YOUTUBE/FACEBOOK
SCENE CLASS

Writers submit a 2-4 page scene in PDF format which can include up to half a page of set up if necessary and email it to this address.

Sign up now and take until Monday, April 18, to get your scene in.  By sending your scene, you are giving me permission to send the scenes and notes to others in the class. I will provide feedback by embedding notes into the PDF.

I will send links to YouTube scenes that writers can watch at their convenience. I will let you know how each video is relevant to a craft principle and will even reference the videos in the individual scene notes.

Every writer will have their scene or a craft principle referenced in a clip. I will often mention more than one writers' scenes in the intro to the YouTube scenes.

I will try to pick a time for the group wrap-up to be convenient for the majority of the writers and will take a vote on the best service to use.  Am leaning toward Gotomeeting.com.

The random/interactive part of the class is that I won't pre-pick scenes or lessons till I read the scenes.  I will tailor the notes and clips to be specifically relevant to the current group.
