As human beings, we tend to want to avoid trouble as much as possible.  As a believer, we serve a God that recommends us for testing like Job or tells us to get in the boat and go to the other side to an appointed place...through a violent storm. 

He does this because He is Alpha and Omega and knows our end from our beginning.  He knows the plans that he has for you.  Rest in the Lord for He will bring your enemies to confusion and give you the victory.  Rejoice and be glad, for the light of the Lord has risen on you!
