Greetings!

Welcome to the April Edition of the "NewsVine", the official Trinity East United Methodist Church newsletter! We hope you find this month's edition informative and entertaining.  We are on the move sharing the Good News and inviting others to share in the identity and security of Jesus.

Come join with us in our ministries advancing in the vineyard because the harvest is plentiful. God has authorized and commissioned - "Go out and train everyone you meet far and near, in this way of life, marking them in the practice of all I have commanded you." What a joy it is to advance the Kingdom for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ our Lord!

Please feel free to contact us with any comments regarding the "NewsVine", and remember to visit the "TrE' Online" (www.trinityeastumc.org), our website, which is full of information about us, our services, ministries, and upcoming events.  We look forward to hearing from you and we certainly look forward to seeing you at "The TrE" on Sunday morning!

In Christ,
Pastor Bryan K. Dalco

Men's Ministry...
You may notice the new "brick road" leading to the trash dumpster in the East Parking Lot.  With the heavy truck coming to pick up the dumpster on a regular basis, Men's ministry noticed that the ground that truck rolled over was sinking and would get pretty muddy after a hard rain.  Thank you Men's Ministry for teaming up to make parking lot access easier, and for paving the way for easier access to the dumpster for the heavy garbage truck!

A special thanks goes out to Herbert Green, Jerome Price, Ray Stewart, Willie Mitchell, Sr., Godfrey McCoy, Walter Adams, & Nathaniel Autry, of the Men's Ministry, for all of their hard work.

2009 ANNUAL EXPO....
2009 Annual ExpoHigh schooler Ethan Edmonson has been a long time supporter of Trinity East's Mission & Outreach projects.  He and his mom stopped by to donate items just in time for the Annual Expo.  Trinity East will partner with Generation One, Windsor Village, Christian Alliance, and other organizations to once again spread the Gospel and peace of God to our neighbors through family fun and resources for needed to strengthen the family unit.  All Trinity East Ministry Teams are asked to take part in this annual event Saturday, May 22, 2009. As you remember 300+ men, women, youth, and children participated last year.  On April 11, 2009 immediately following the 2nd Saturday Food Distribution, those participating will join together in prayer and planning for this year's expo. Trinity East is asked to assist with food donations .  We will need to prepare for 375 persons.  Items needed, includes: prepared hamburger patties, hamburger buns, wieners, hot dog buns, packets of ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo; chips; can soda (regular & diet), paper towels & plates  To donate see Sinnie Washington or Geri Shelton!
