Greetings!
Welcome to our second E-Newsletter! This issue is packed with upcoming and past events that Step by Step staff, VISTAs and volunteers organized in the new year. Check out our Earth Day Block party, our upcoming Community Baby Shower and Bios of all the people who make Step by Step possible.
As a VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) Leader with Step by Step, I'm fortunate to contribute in small ways to many of our inititiaves and really get a sense of all the wonderful work that we do. We have a great team and we're expanding it to include four more VISTAs to work on Environmental Sustainability and Veteran's Affairs. Please contact us if you or someone you know is interested in joining the team.
Thanks to all who gave us feedback on our inaugural issue. Based on your comments, we have added the "Community Corner" section that features artwork, recipes, poems and more from the communities that we serve. We hope that you will continue to help us develop this newsletter by filling out this survey with your thoughts, ideas and feedback. And don't forget to click on the "read full article" link at the end of each section for more information, photos and links, and a chance to comment on each article!
