March Madness!
Unfortunately March has brought a lot of madness and sorrow with the devastating earthquake and tsunami
hitting Japan and the unending looming threat of the nuclear reactors.
Our hearts and prayers continue to go out to the people of Japan during this time and we give thanks and praise to God for every survivor that has been found and for each family that has been reunited.
Here in Hawaii, we have much to be thankful for! Though there was some damage in various parts of the islands, it is minimal compared to the devastation of Japan.
We give thanks to God!

Building A Bright Future
Recently both the Hilo Exchange Club and the Aloha Exchange Club of East Hawaii came out and lent us a hand! They cleaned inside and out! Wiping down all surfaces, fixtures and windows. Additionally, they weed whacked the half acre of property and sprayed for weeds. They did an awesome job!

We are nearing completion of the Kahe'e home in Keaukaha! Volunteers continue to build each Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you're interested in participating in the build, please email us for addtitional information at info@hilohabitat.org.
