Hilo Habitat ReStore is Moving
The big day has finally come! Hilo Habitat ReStore has outgrown its space at Kinoole Street and is moving to a 1600 square foot warehouse space at 700 Manono Street, right next to Kilauea Kreations, the quilt shop, and down the street from the Hilo Jaycees. If you're available to help us move on Saturday, 9/26, from 9 to 1 or 12-4, please sign up online today! We'll be moving everything and getting set up to reopen on Monday, 9/28. Bring something to share for potluck lunch and we'll provide drinks, desserts, and all the paper goods. Thanks so much and see you there!

Mahalo Nui Loa
Many people and organizations make affordable housing possible through Hilo Habitat for Humanity. We'd especially like to thank: Wal-Mart, $1,000 donation; HomeStreet Bank, $2,500 donation ; Panda Express, Walk-a-Thon 2009 fundraising day ; County of Hawaii Environmental Services, three weeks of advertising our ReStore and nominating us for a statewide recycling award; Bierman Home Inspections, for donating a portion of every home inspection sale; Hugh Muscat & Falcon Computers, software consulting services; Wes Owens & Tools for Orgs, website consulting services; Bruce Mosher, for donating a 5500 watt generator; and last but not least, Lisa Yao, for spending her lunch hour loading and unloading at our container!
We'd also like to thank our regular ReStore volunteers: Carolyn Hedberg, Roy Dollwet, Terrence Kawahara, Rosenda Samuel, Linda Bhajan, Jan Lahey, and Chelsea Caban-Stephens; our committee volunteers and our board members for the many hours and professional expertise that they generously give.
Have Other Donations? If you don't have plants, we always appreciate other new or gently used building materials, tools, home goods, furniture, or similar items at the ReStore. Questions? Please call us at 808-935-6677 or email us.
