We are elbows deep in concrete here at The Rental Branch!  So far we have put up around 10,000 pounds of Vertifaux; talk about feeling muscles that have not been used in awhile...I think we have all been pretty sore, but the hard work has been very rewarding.

A special thanks to Nathan Giffin from Vertical Artisans. Nathan had a last minute opening in his schedule and we were able to take advantage of the opportunity. The pillars and arches look fantastic. Nathan dazzled us with his techniques and tips. The bar has been raised!

Our storefront rendering is finally done. I'm sure there will be changes to come, but the overall look is sure to offer some stunning curb appeal!

See you soon,

The pillars and arches are coming along beautifully!  Huge thanks to Nathan, Troy, and Gene for their contributions.  We still need to finish the stone on the back of the arches and add color, but what masterpieces they are becoming already!

A Gem of an Idea
 geode

Not a major undertaking like a lot of the rest of our project, but definately a sparkling highlight!  This geode is embedded into one of the columns.  There are others too, but you will have to come in and find them for yourself!

In the design corner we  used stencils to simulate red brick.  Butterfield's T1000 fine is colored & sprayed on the wall and when the stencil is removed...Voila!  Thanks to Jim Mullins from Butterfield for supplying the product and the expertise. Its a pretty easy way to dress up a wall.

The Rental Branch workshop walls are finished!  The wood planking turned out well.  It matches almost perfectly with the real wooden beams.
