MOMENTUM

All men are invited to attend this campus-wide event from 8:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, at the Downtown Campus. This will be a time of spiritual encouragement and growth as well as a great opportunity for the men of Crossroads to connect with one another. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

Prayer Meeting

Prayer As we move through the message of II Peter, "Living The Transformation," the Prayer Team will offer a prayer meeting around the main ideas in this insightful apostolic call to our lives and times. The meeting will be from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, in the Prayer Room, Modular Classroom D.
Baptism Sunday

Baptism We will be performing baptisms during both services on Sunday, September 23. If you would like to be baptized, please  contact Julie Winn at julie@columbiacrossroads.org.  
Ladies Discipleship Group

Ladies, join Stacy Hill for a 6-week study on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The first meeting will be held September 5 at the SA Campus. Topics that will be addressed include:
  • What does it mean to be "In Him"?
  • How are we rooted and grounded?
  • Fear/Perspective
  • How do we remain and abide?
  • How our "Being" is being changed?
  • What does it mean for God to live life through me?

New Ministry - "Safe Families"

family Over the next few weeks, you will begin to hear more about a new ministry at Crossroads called "Safe Families."  This is a ministry to help families in need before they become involved with DSS.  There are many families who need assistance with their children for a short period of time, for one reason or another, and this ministry was created out of the desire to see the church fill that need.

Even now, three children in the Columbia area (ages 7, 5 and 2 all with some special need) need of a place to stay for a few months while their mom undergoes two surgeries.  The children can be split up, and we have more details for anyone that might be willing to help. If you are willing to care for these children, please contact Laurin Headley at laurin@columbiacrossroads.org.

Volunteer 2 We need additional team members for the Coffee Ministry, the Greeter Team, the Audio Visual (ProPresenter) Team, and the Usher Team. Contact one of the individuals below for more information about each ministry team:

Question Mark The Lost and Found bin is overflowing! Please retrieve your lost items from the bin in the copy room. Any items not claimed by September 9 will be donated. 
The Hope Project

The Hope ProjectEvery Tuesday, The Hope Project provides assistance to the homeless and needy families in Columbia.

This ministry is in constant need of pop-top cans of meat, veggies, and fruit as well as non-food items including clothing and toiletry items. You may drop off your donation at Guest Services.
