New Equipping Class
 Join us at the 9:30 a.m. service for a new equipping class! "The Way of the Wise: Themes from Proverbs" begins this Sunday in the Impact Student Room (former Equipping Room).

New Baby
 Congratulations to Chris and Carla Gerlach on their new addition! "Meyer Tate" was born on Monday, August 6. He was 21.5 inches long and weighed a healthy 8 pounds 2 ounces.

New Ministry - "Safe Families"
 Over the next few weeks, you will begin to hear more about a new ministry at Crossroads called "Safe Families." This is a ministry to help families in need before they become involved with DSS. There are many families who need assistance with their children for a short period of time, for one reason or another, and this ministry was created out of the desire to see the church fill that need. Even now, three children in the Columbia area (ages 7, 5 and 2 all with some special need) need of a place to stay for a few months while their mom undergoes two surgeries. The children can be split up, and we have more details for anyone that might be willing to help. If you are willing to care for these children, please contact Laurin Headley at laurin@columbiacrossroads.org.

Promotion Sunday
 Attention Parents! Promotion Sunday will be August 19. All children will move up to their new classes at this time. There is still a need for two more Bible teachers during the 9:30 a.m. service. Please contact Leslie Jones at lesliefjones@gmail.com if you are interested in serving.

Night of Worship
 Crossroads and Columbia Church will come together for a combined Night of Worship at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22! We'll meet at Columbia Church located at 220 N Royal Tower Drive in Irmo. Childcare will be provided for ages birth - preschool; elementary children are welcome to attend the service.

MOMENTUM
 All men are invited to attend this campus-wide event from 8:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, at the Downtown Campus. This will be a time of spiritual encouragement and growth as well as a great opportunity for the men of Crossroads to connect with one another. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

Prayer Meeting
 As we move through the message of II Peter, "Living The Transformation," the Prayer Team will offer a prayer meeting around the main ideas in this insightful apostolic call to our lives and times. The meeting will be from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, in the Prayer Room, Modular Classroom D.

Ladies' Bible Study
 Ladies, join us for "Breaking Free" by Beth Moore from 6:45 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursdays beginning August 30.

School Supplies Drive
 Help support Sharing God's Love ministries by providing school supplies for needy children. If you would like to participate, email the church office at info@columbiacrossroads.org for a list of needed supplies.

The Hope Project
 The Hope Project has a specific need for back packs. Pop-top cans of meat, veggies, and fruit as well as non-food items including large print Bibles, men's and women's undergarments, and toiletry items are also needed. You may drop off your donation at Guest Services.
