Servanthood 2012

Middle school students (grades 6-8) will join other local churches in Servanthood June 21st-23rd. Servanthood is a mission trip focused on building Christian community, developing deeper communion with God, and sharing the love of Christ through service. More than 50 students will serve the Lexington Community in several areas, including Oakleaf Village, Bethel Christian Camp, Lexington Learning Center and Lexington Food Pantry. Please pray for the students as they serve as lights in our community, for their spiritual growth and discipleship, and for the relationships that will be built through Servanthood.
"Thank You" From the Downer Family
(Missionaries to Cameroon)

Thanks so much for the Care Package you sent us - we received it yesterday (June 11th).  Elizabeth and Josiah were very excited to receive it and said at least 4 or 5 times that we must thank Crossroads for sending it.  We loved seeing the pictures and the prayer leaflet you made for the prayer day.
Thanks again! It made us feel loved, remembered, and special.
