Greetings!

It's already December?! The first two months have been an amazing experience - I've met so many wonderful people and am thankful to have the opportunity to work with all of you.

Just in case you missed last week's email, we're looking for an Operations Manager and YOU might know the person we need!  Please take a look at the position and share it with anyone you think might be a good candidate.

We have many opportunities coming up in the near future!

  • 1/31/12 - Make plans to attend Breakfast with the Best- January is right around the corner - make your reservation now.

I hope to talk to you at one of these events, but in the meantime, I wish you a wonderful holiday season, filled with completed lists, good health and much happiness!

Business NH Magazine Announces Best Companies to Work For

What does it take to become one of the Best Companies in New Hampshire to work for?  Ask one of the NHBSR member companies who won this year!

Additionally, NHBSR members SilverTech, Inc., Comcast, New Hampshire Ball Bearings and Southern New Hampshire Unviersity made the semi-finalists' list.  The Hall of Fame, whose membership requires companies have been named to the Best Companies for 4 out 5 years includes Hypertherm and Wire Belt Company of America.  Hypertherm is the first company to be named to the Hall of Fame twice!

Congratulations to all the winners!  The workplace culture of these companies gives us a wealth of best practices to draw from.  Join us at the Breakfast with the Best to learn what makes them the top draw for talented employees.

New Member Profile - ReVision Energy

Did you know that New Hampshire is one of the most oil dependent states in the U.S. and we have the second highest per capita CO2 emissions in New England? The good news is that NH gets 33% more sunshine per year than Germany, the world leader in solar energy installations. Since 2003, ReVision Energy has installed more than 3,000 solar energy systems that are helping people and businesses reduce fossil fuel consumption and the associated emissions. Our systems are designed by engineers from UNH, Dartmouth, MIT and Brown and installed by our experienced team of certified, professional solar technicians. NH is offering solar cash rebates up to $4,500 per system in addition to the 30% federal tax credit--these financial incentives make solar energy one of the safest investment opportunities on the market today.
