Greetings!
My journey as Executive Director with NHBSR begins with this message to all of you, the heart and soul of the organization. Having been involved as a member and volunteer in the past, I understand the balancing act between work, family, volunteer activities and personal time. I truly appreciate your dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainability and your willingness to share your time with other businesses. I will strive to make NHBSR every bit as valuable to you, as you are to the organization!
I am excited about NHBSR's future. Molly and Kate have done a great job building NHBSR's foundation. We are now uniquely positioned, because of all of you, to put New Hampshire businesses focused on "People, Principles and Profits" in the forefront, as our economy comes to terms with the necessity of this approach. No doubt, we will all continue to face daunting challenges as we push toward economic recovery, but so many of you have demonstrated that CSR is not just ethically the right thing to do, but has also positioned you financially to weather storms.
Over the next few months, I hope to hear from you (if you don't hear from me first!) about what NHBSR programs and services have been valuable to you and your business, as well as what you hope to see in the future. I am confident that NHBSR will continue to grow and develop an even stronger partnership between sustainably-minded businesses within the state.
I hope to talk with you at the Member Social and Annual Meeting. The event has been moved to November 16th. Please check Kate's Program and Services e-blast next week for the details on the location. See you there!
