Nobis Engineering's Peter Delano, P.E., Principal has been recognized by the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Boston Post as the recipient of the prestigious S. Peter Volpe Award.
Heartwood Media has a passion for promoting local food and the people and farms that produce it, so they started, "Our Food, Our Farms." This project shares stories about local food and farms in New Hampshire and illustrates the importance they have in our lives. A compilation of the videos can be found on their Facebook page.
The New Hampshire Electric Co-op (NHEC) Foundation has been named The Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH's 2011 Community Partner. Since 2006, the NHEC Foundation has awarded four wishes totaling $20,000.
Hannah Grimes has expanded their Business Incubator Program
from 5 to 15 incubating offices. They say they "help entrepreneurs engage, energize, and connect which increases their opportunities for success."
PSNH hosts "littles" from "Beyond School Walls," a program of Big Brothers Big Sisters Greater Nashua and Salem. Read more about the program and the kids' trip to Energy Park here.
Timberland employees served a total of 14,424 hours in Q1 2011, which is a 64% increase in hours served compared to Q1 2010.
