Strawbery Banke Museum is evolving in its efforts to become a green museum.

Energy consumption in its 37 historic structures has been significantly reduced; the Heritage Houses Program addressing long-term preservation and sustainability needs for 10 of its historic structures was recently launched; and special events, school, summer camp, and daily horticulture programs teach from the past to help create a more sustainable future for all who live and work in the region.

Join us in Portsmouth tomorrow and learn about the greening of one of New England's most popular living history museums, while enjoying local and organic refreshments and networking!
