NH Businesses for Social Responsibility
NHBSR Executive Director Says Farewell

Dear NHBSR Members & Friends;

After six wonderful years of working with all of you to foster social and environmental responsibility in New Hampshire, I am stepping down to explore a new challenge.  I have accepted the position of Executive Director of the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and will start April 18.  As many of you know, I began my nonprofit career in the early nineties at the Dover Chamber as their Special Events and Community Development Manager, so this opportunity is like coming home for me.  It will allow me to make an impact regionally in my own community and be closer to my family as well.

I have enjoyed serving as the Executive Director for New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility.  It has been an honor to work for an organization with such a unique combination of professionalism, innovation and personal warmth.

I am proud of the many achievements we have accomplished together over the last six years.  It is with great satisfaction that I look back and realize the depth and breadth of the progress we have made with the research, development and launch of the new Sustainability Self Assessment Tool, the hiring of the organization's first Program Director, the growth of our program offerings, the imminent launch of our Sustainable Business Institute and so many new partnerships, memberships and collaborative alignments that have elevated the level of visibility of NHBSR as New Hampshire's 'go to' resource for corporate social responsibility. This has been a wonderful experience for me and I feel so much richer both personally and professionally for all of the great friends I have made and partnerships established.

I wish continued success for the organization and look forward to staying apprised and involved. Thanks so much to all of you for your efforts on behalf of NHBSR and for building a state that values the principles of sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Sincerely Yours,

Molly Hodgson Smith
