"Workplace Flexibility: A Winning Business Strategy"

Sharon Cowen, Project Director, When Work Works and Family & Consumer Resources Educator with UNH Cooperative Extension
Stephanie Marshall, Senior Partner, MKS Performance Solutions

This webinar will address how to begin or enhance flexibility policies that will be the right fit for your organization and employees. Both good and bad economies create workforce challenges for employers. In good times, the challenge is recruiting and retaining talented and dedicated employees. Bad times require employers to maximize efficiency and productivity with employees who may suffer from low morale and high uncertainty. In either climate, employers need talented and creative employees who will stay for the long term, and employees look for long term job security and a good place to work. Workplace flexibility options don't have to be expensive, nor are they the same for every employee. Research from the Families and Work Institute in New York clearly shows that employees who work for companies with flexibility tend to have greater engagement and satisfaction from their jobs and stay with those employers longer.
