Happy New Year!  2010 marks NHBSR's 10th year in business and I am proud to have been part of five of those years of tremendous growth and achievement.  We will be celebrating with you throughout the entire year, kicking off with Breakfast With The Best on Thursday, February 18.

For thirteen years, Business New Hampshire Magazine and NHBSR have been recognizing businesses that have created outstanding company cultures. Companies across the state submit applications extolling their benefits, training, educational opportunities and their mission statements in the hopes of being named one of the Ten 'Best Companies to Work For' in New Hampshire. The Breakfast With The Best celebrates these companies for being employers of choice and offers attendees an opportunity to learn from their leadership.

Over four hundred high level management professionals attend.  If you haven't been to this event yet, make 2010 your first.  These links provide full details on sponsorship and attendance.  Also feel free to call or email Heidi Copeland, at Millyard Communications, at  603.626.6354 x210.

Warm Regards,

ISO 26000-Social Responsibility, Coming in 2010
ISO, the International Organization for Standardization will launch an International Standard providing guidelines for social responsibility (SR) in 2010.  The guidance standard will be published as ISO 26000 and be voluntary to use. It will not include requirements and will thus not be a certification standard.  The aim is to encourage voluntary commitment to social responsibility and will lead to common guidance on concepts, definitions and methods of evaluation.
