Announcing ON-AIR Pro at Lifetime Networks
 In January 2009, Lifetime Networks implemented ON-AIR Pro to manage the production of on-air promos and graphics. Lifetime's implementation of ON-AIR Pro includes integrations with its Media Asset Management ("MAM") and traffic systems, which mitigated the need to enter data manually in multiple systems and ensured data integrity. Automation between ON-AIR Pro, the MAM, and the traffic system also encouraged more productive communication throughout the planning, creative and production processes, as well as the ability to prioritize production based on the status of an element and its air date. Lifetime's staff produces more than 1,000 for-air elements per week and ON-AIR Pro is key to Lifetime's ability to meet tight deadlines.
MGM HD adds ON-AIR Pro to its suite of software systems
Cable channel MGM HD has licensed Thought Development's ON-AIR Pro system to automate the workflow for the network's promotion and scheduling. The system, already in place at many of television's largest networks, has strengthened MGM HD's efficiency, bringing improvements to program scheduling, on-air promotion workflow tracking, and other core processes. MGM's selection of ON-AIR Pro came after review of a number of other potential solutions. Instrumental in the network's decision were ON-AIR Pro's robust program scheduling features - which include in-depth title management, central grid-based scheduling, as well as air history and ratings tracking. MGM HD can now plan its programming with reinforced reliability and flexibility. ON-AIR Pro also brings improvements to MGM HD's promo production tracking, internal communication, and media library processes. The system has been customized with additional schedule reporting features, and is soon expected to integrate with the existing traffic system.

ON-AIR PRO AND mSOFT INTEGRATE MUSIC TRACKING
 mSoft is the largest aggregator and supplier of production music and sound in the world, with more than 20 terabytes of content, and over 1,200,000 files. One of ON-AIR Pro's plug-ins, ON-Cue™, takes advantage of mSoft's music cue data to assist music departments in researching and submitting music cues for evaluation; and writer-producers in attaching selected cues' data to promos and trailer projects.
The tracking of music usage in the television promotion and motion picture advertising industries has always been a major endeavor, relying upon laborious procedures executed by many individuals. The process has been difficult at both ends - for those reporting and those collecting. Through the real-time integration of ON-AIR Pro™ and mSoft, major television networks and motion picture marketing businesses can now generate their music cue reports accurately with one click of the mouse button.
Thought Development and mSoft are continuing their integration efforts to refine even further all of the processes associated with music libraries tracking, music cue selection, usage and reporting.
