Fluff and Gruff
Our goat sisters are reunited as a surprising number of ducklings appear on the scene. After a brief trip to the vet, Pansy -the brown goat, was bleatingly reunited with her sister, Daisy. Meanwhile, the Science Room welcomed ten new baby ducks. The ducklings have yet to be named, but this does not seem to slow them down a bit. Not surprisingly, Iggy, the iguana, has remained faithfully stoic throughout the arrivals, molting away as he observes the menagerie with reptilian indifference. We are indebted to Elie Spivak and her family for their donations of duck and time. In addition, a very special "Thank You " goes out to Pansy's vet, and former Walden mom, Dr. Ann Nevils at Chenoweth Animal Hospital. You can access their website at http://www.chenowethanimalhospital.com Runner Duck #3 contemplates escape. Iggy takes the "wait and see" stance. |
