Final Exams
Students will take final exams in the classroom in which they usually have their classes.
Students need not come to school at times when they do not have exams.  Students should be picked up 30 minutes after their last exam of the day is completed.  Please make notes of the day and time for each exam.  There is a 30% penalty for being late for the start of an exam and no extra time is allowed.

STANFORD
 Testing

Next week the freshmen and juniors at Walden will be taking the Stanford Test. This is a national scored standardized test that allows us to get a snap shot of what our students know. We use this information to shape and inform our curriculum and teaching. It does not have a bearing on your child's grades, but is a very important instrument to ensure that the education students receive at Walden is the very best possible. Students will take the test over two days but the schedule will be manipulated so students will not miss any class more than once.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Walden Customized Search Engines  Article

Have you noticed that when you Google a topic, you often receive over a million results?  As you know many of these sites are either unless, unrelated or not age/grade appropriate.  To better assist your child, Walden teachers  have created custom-made Google Search Engines. The purpose of these search engines is to narrow results to only educational websites chosen by Walden teachers.

If you have a great educational site, please email the link to craymond@walden-school.org. Please specify the grade level and subject. We can add it to our search engines as well.  "Together" we can continue to improve these useful tools!

To find them:

Go to Walden's website à Resources à Online Resources à choose a division.
