Brad Kimbrough
 The Social in Social Studies

Mr. Kimbrough grew up in Texas and got his BA in History and Music (Double Major) from Loyola University in Chicago and M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning from DePaul University in Chicago.  He has taught at Walden since 2006.  He heads our Kentucky Youth Assembly and Kentucky United Nations Assembly programs.  Most resently he has become the advisor for Walden's chapter of the National Honor Society.  He also is the faculty representative on the Board of Trustees.  Mr. Kimbrough has served as a reader (grader)for the history AP exams.  Brad is a vital part of our faculty teaching AP United States History, AP European History, AP Human Geography, United States History, and World Geography.
He feels Walden is a special place because of . . . . the community that has been created here.  The caring, welcoming and trusting environment has fostered his own growth as a teacher, as well as creating a wonderful educational environment for our students.
He believes Walden students are . . .interesting and interested.  They are great individuals who make it fun to come to work each day.

Walden Customized Search Engines  Article

Have you noticed that when you Google a topic, you often receive over a million results?  As you know many of these sites are either unless, unrelated or not age/grade appropriate.  To better assist your child, Walden teachers  have created custom-made Google Search Engines. The purpose of these search engines is to narrow results to only educational websites chosen by Walden teachers.

If you have a great educational site, please email the link to craymond@walden-school.org. Please specify the grade level and subject. We can add it to our search engines as well.  "Together" we can continue to improve these useful tools!

To find them:

Go to Walden's website à Resources à Online Resources à choose a division.
