Dear Readers,
Welcome to my May newsletter, it is full of exciting products and offers for the Jubilee celebrations that will be taking over our country in the next month.
Thank you to all our customers and followers who came and said hello at the CAKE International exhibition at Excel in London last month. We had a fantastic 3 days there and were inundated with compliments on all of our show cakes; some of which are featured in this newsletter. The biggest success on our stand this year seemed to be the new Beau Products Flavoured Sugarpaste. We all love sugarpaste but it now comes in exciting flavours too. It is perfect for covering individual cupcakes or for using in all of the Great Impressions Moulds that are currently flying off the shelves at Cake Craft World. If you use this great tasting sugarpaste in moulds, there is no need for any preparation of the mould, i.e Trex or cornflour as it simply doesn't stick to the silicone. Obviously, because of this it makes decoration production very speedy which can only be good thing! More information on our new product is given below.
Over 1,000 of you entered our free prize draw at the exhibition but as we know there can only be one winner and that lucky person was Georgina Ayres! Well done Georgina and I am looking forward to receiving a photo of one of your creations made with all the fabulous equipment you have won!
A continued thank you for all the emails and photos you send me each month. I love looking through them and I try very hard to include at least one of each of our readers' creations so please keep them coming to louise@cakecraftworld.com.
Until next month, happy baking....

Our Featured Product
This month's featured product is the amazing Flavoured Sugarpaste from Beau Products. It really does taste great and comes in a variety of flavours, I have listed them below. - Banana flavour/yellow
- Belgian milk chocolate flavour/brown
- Belgian white chocolate flavour/off-white
- Cappuccino flavour/coffee
- Candy Floss flavour/pink
- Champagne flavour/cream
- Cola flavour/deep burgundy
- Orange Fizz flavour/pastel orange
- Peppermint flavour/white
- Pistachio flavour/light green
- Sherbet Lemon flavour/lemon
- Strawberry flavour/ruby red
- Toffee flavour/caramel
- Violet flavour/lilac
The proof was in the eating with the Beau flavoured sugarpaste as we had every single pot open at CAKE International for people to actually try the flavours and we couldn't keep up with the pace at which they were emptying! We had fantastic feedback about this product and urge you to try it. The great thing about it is not only does it come in great colours but you can now match your flavours to your cupcakes. Whilst trying the sugarpaste out, it became very apparent that no grease was needed (as in normal moulds) to ensure that it released easily. You just put the sugarpaste in the mould and out it comes, easy as that. If you have never used a mould before, don't panic as using moulds is so easy. Just fill the mould with the correct amount of sugarpaste and then gently ease it to the edges, making sure that no sugarpaste hangs over the edge of the design. Then turn it upside down and gently ease the sugarpaste out.. It is also lovely to roll out and has a velvety texture that doesn't become sticky with handling. All in all a first class product and I now use it all the time when making small cupcake decorations.
The pictures show the packaging and some ideas I have come up with, mostly made from our selection of Cutters and Moulds.

Things Are Shaping Up
These sets of shaped plunger cutters are absolutely brilliant and seem to save me so much time these days. Do you remember the days when you had to cut out little circles and then pop them out of the cutter with the back of a paintbrush? Not any more! These plunger cutters come in Round, Square and Diamond and are perfect for creating catchy designs on all sorts of goodies. See the lovely little cupcakes below for inspiration.

If you team these handy shaped plunger cutters with our featured Beau Products Flavoured Sugarpaste, as I have below, it creates a pretty celebration or wedding cake and of course it also has a whole menu of gorgeous flavours included too!

Some more clever use of the shaped plunger cutters is shown here too. If you are pushed for time or indeed ability, you can always use the cute Royal Blue Icing Forget-Me-Nots.
