HALL OF FAME | |
Barbara Lee's champagne bottle in a bucket is great.
Barbi Colson has used some lovely colours to create this cheerful cake. Carole Bunyan has cleverly taken the famous Debbie Brown ballerina cake design and made it her own by dressing the dancer in a beautiful blue. Cathy Cowburn has sent in this lovely wedding cake for us to see. Clinton Shaw has sent me this photo of his wife's cake. The brush embroidery on the sides is very pretty. I absolutely adore Geraldine Durey's cake above that depicts a retiring couple. The detail is outstanding. Helen Hancock's tribute to the famous Lilliput Lane models is fantastic. Linda Hotham has produced a great bottle of bubbly for an 18th birthday. Lisa Crawford has captured the characters of the new Toy Story perfectly. Any Mother of young children will know that these little cuties are called Octonauts! Lucy Lovell has modelled these out of brightly coloured sugarpaste available here. Lynda McCallum's cake above is literally a 'cheeky monkey'! This is one of 2 cakes made for twins. Margaret Robinson has used the kneeling gardener and white ribbon with gardening tools to create this very intricate allotment cake.

Pat Whorwood has used a fairy topper for this pretty cake. Click here for our range of fairy products. Lovely cake yet again Pat!

This is a very pretty cake by Paulette Graham using the
extra large flower blossom plunger cutter. If you haven't got time to make them, you could always use the white large sugar blossoms. This cake is topped with the resin bible and silver goblet. Perfect for a Holy Communion celebration.

Pauline Foster must know that I can never resist a Winnie the Pooh cake! Look at all the cute little bees.
Sandra Milton has created a really pretty castle cake here using the pink princess as a perfect topper.

Another spectacular cake from Sharon Forbes. I love the pillars being used for the piano legs.

Wow Shirley Clarke, this is a fun wedding cake! A road of sugary sweets, how perfect.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR PHOTOS COMING IN BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T, WE WONT HAVE ANYTHING TO LOOK AT!

Dear Readers,
Welcome to Spring! So much has been happening this month at CakeCraftWorld our feet have hardly touched the daffodil-filled ground. Our cake made it to the Ideal Home Show and I hope that some of you got to the exhibition at Earls Court. If you saw our cake, email and let me know what you thought of our design. If you didn't, this is a picture of it with it's creators.
Lin Chow and I are very proud of what we produced and hope that you like it too. Sadly we didn't win but congratulations to Michelle Wibowo of Sugar Art for her winning sculpture of William and Kate. I did get to chat with the lovely Mich Turner though and she was very interested in the work we do here at CakeCraftWorld. Next month I will be showing you some of the techniques used in creating our masterpiece so watch out for that.
With so much going on at the moment we have had to roll our Royal Wedding and Easter newsletters into one. Below are plenty of ideas and offers for these 2 wonderful occasions and I'm sure that all of you will be able to take away at least one new idea from this month's newsletter!
You sent in lots of lovely photos last month so thank you for that and I look forward to receiving more over the next month too.
Until then, happy baking everyone.
Mich Tuner loved our cake!
