KEATS FILM FESTIVAL CELEBRATION
Only 11 months to go until 2012
The 50th Anniversary of THE SNOWY DAY
Featuring a different Keats book each month

"DREAMS"
Roberto has trouble falling asleep and surprisingly the most magical thing happens. Finally, his adventure tires him out and he falls happily asleep and into dreamland. Each page of this book is a delicious pictorial and color feast, the sort that only a Keats book can offer. Fun Fact: Ezra is famous for constructing his illustrations with collage. Did you know that he made the paper with swirls used in all the skys and many of the windows in DREAMS by floating colored ink on water and then pressing paper gently on top? Here is a look on how it's done, it's called marbling . Purchase DREAMS This February we are putting out a call for imaginative videos of you reading DREAMS to your child or class. Actually, it doesn't have to be you, it can be a friend, a grandparent, an older child reading to a younger child or group of children you know and love. It can even be a young child reading and exploring DREAMS on their own.
We are eager to see the children in your life get started on their way to a lifelong love of reading
