SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS
Social Media is here and it is the way of the future.
Thank you for your outreach and concerns in the midst of the latest
wildfire in Santa Barbara! I have gratitude and want to acknowledge
special thanks to the Wild Web Women of Webmarketing Therapy, Lorrie Thomas and Emilia Doerr. We are learning how to stay more connected in
the world of instant demand for information because of their classes! For up to the minute information on our company, you can follow me on
Facebook, Twitter and Linked In by searching for my name, Annie
Crawley. We have channels on both Youtube and Vimeo that can be found
in the same way, by searching Annie Crawley or Dive Into Your
Imagination.

We are living in a society transforming into the power of now, yet not
necessarily as the positive collective consciousness Eckhart Tolle
teaches. We want our information delivered to us how we want, complete
with photos, video, maps and information. Yesterday we believed
everything was contained and then in what seemed like an instant, a
cloud of smoke literally enveloped our entire town and I found myself
in front of my computer searching twitter for information because it
was faster to get reputable accurate information that "I wanted to
know" from these sites than from ones being broadcasted by the main
media. Read more and watch video.

One of the rarest birds in the world, flightless cormorants live in the Galapagos Islands
and are birds that have lost the ability to fly! Like all cormorants,
they are excellent swimmers with webbed feet and powerful legs they use
for swimming in the water as they hunt for fish while swimming
underwater not flying overhead. They feed on fish, eels, octopus and
other creatures.

Dr. Kuris has spent most of his career studying parasites: organisms that make their living by relying on other organisms. These can be found in almost every environment, including aquatic systems, so it is important to learn about them.
What defines a parasite?
A parasite lives on or in another organism (the host) and consumes energy and nourishment from only that individual host. In this interaction, the host is affected negatively while the parasite is, obviously, positively affected. This is very different from predation, which is also a negative/positive relationship. Predators, in contrast attack, feed on, and kill more than one victim. Parasites come in many forms. An example of one type is a parasitic castrator, which blocks host reproduction. Read More
