How to Survive in 2009? Be Thankful! Every morning when I wake up the very first thought that pops into my head is, thank you God. I used to roll over and hit snooze, but now I meditate for three minutes, give gratitude and open myself up to receiving. Three minutes, that is all it takes for me to start my day. Just think about your morning routine for a minute. What do you do? Do you hit snooze and wish for more sleep or jump right out fully charged? I have heard that "coincidences are just God's way of remaining anonymous," and after meeting Jeff at the last Les Brown Platinum Speaker training, I believe. Meeting Jeff has changed the way I think of my life every single morning. He is an unsung hero walking our planet dedicated to living a healthy life. In his heart, mind, body and soul Jeff wants to spread the word that we must take care of ourselves from the inside out. "Without your health Annie, you have absolutely nothing." And for Jeff, health is first and everything else is secondary. You see, Jeff cannot just simply roll over and get out of bed every morning, he spends his life in a wheelchair. Jeff is a quadriplegic, and it takes him 3 to 4 hours everyday to get out of bed. Yes, 3 to 4 hours every morning, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. He cannot move his body from the neck down. For the past 20 years this man has been dedicated to finding the purpose of his life. When I met Jeff, I knew I met an angel because of his infinite wisdom. We laughed together because he said that it took an extreme accident in order for him to understand that love did not live in-between his legs after a couple of beers. Read More in Annie's Blog

| Blue-footed booby birds
are seabirds that get their names from the Spanish term 'bobo' which
means dunce. They can be very tame and land on boats which made them
easy prey for sailors. Blue-footed booby birds live in tropical and
subtropical islands in the Pacific Ocean, all of the ones photographed
here are from the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. As a marine bird, they
come to land to mate. Watch the video to see the mating dance of the
blue-footed booby bird! |
I admit, I am not a Final Cut Pro genius. I have been using Final Cut for years, but like many programs out there, I work on a need to know basis. Meaning, I don't know that much about the parts of FCP that I don't use. Doing these tutorials for our website has sent me on a quest for topics to cover that I have never dealt with personally. Terry Lilley is many things. His childhood revolved around water and the animals it, and he later taught himself to SCUBA dive off of his kayak and became a pro-surfer. He is now a shark biologist and underwater photographer for Save Our Seas, the owner of a reptile zoo, and best of all, an advocate for the ocean! He even talks to fish!
