Happy Holidays! We decorated our Sea Tree last night, complete with the Rainbow Fish as our angel. This tradition started about a decade ago when my sister Kathy sent me the Rainbow Fish puppet as a gift all the way from Australia. I immediately knew it would be the angel on top of our holiday tree. The second tradition has become listening to the voice of an angel, Shawn Thies sing about the best gifts we can give this holiday season.

Many people are already thinking about what presents they may give and receive, but more important than any present we can give is our "presence." We have been so busy doing that sometimes we completely miss being with one another. Sharing our love with one another is the best gift to our family and to our world. After all, how can we ever experience world peace if we have disharmony within our own families or communities.

With all the challenges faced during the past year, I know I am happier now than ever before. I am blessed and hold so much gratitude in my heart. During the next couple of weeks we will be diving deep within our souls. As a bear hibernates to awaken to wild honey, we will be nurturing ourselves. I will continue to blog and look forward to hearing from you during the holidays.

We started off with another time lapse. It was a rainy morning and everyone woke up slowly. We have in camera tools like the time lapse when filming and then during post production elements like slowing down the video are also possible. Notice the different camera angles we use. Thanksgiving is a day usually reserved for family, friends, and a big feast. This year, I spent the holiday at work, across the country from most of my loved ones. But this one turned out to be pretty special. Instead of feasting on stuffing and cranberry sauce, I fed fish to two very special dolphins: Moonshine and Harley! Come see!

As the Solstice draws near, the Heart of Christmas is here and Shawn Thies is playing her annual concert. She has the voice of an angel.
