"What we do is less than a drop in the ocean. But if it were missing, the ocean would lack something." Mother Teresa
The Viz this week is filled with CELEBRATION! On Thanksgiving weekend the company hosting my website crashed and Dive Into Your Imagination lost everything from the past year and a half because the back up of the back up failed. I am now completely present to the fact that I can be of great service in helping other people start a company by using all the lessons learned. Dive Into Your Imagination is back to where we started, special thanks to everyone who offered support. We are looking at how we will streamline and create ease and abundance in 2009!
Although I contemplated throwing in the towel for a few seconds, I knew there was no way I would ever give up, even if we had not recovered anything. It was almost as if an angel said to me, be ready for a miracle. I had a couple of distractions. My niece and nephew spent time running around the beach with me, taking me to a place of true importance, family and ocean. While the site was down for more than 48 hours and we have spent two weeks rebuilding I received a special phone call. My brother Ron found out what had happened. He listened to me and said, "Auntie Annie at our Thanksgiving Dinner, Canyon (who is 6) wanted to go last in giving thanks. When it was his turn he said, 'I give thanks to our Ocean.' Annie, you have made a difference in our children's life and I believe you have a message that needs to be shared with many more! F, C, E!"
The foundation of Dive Into Your Imagination was built to entertain and educate everyone about the amazing life within our ocean, and now more than ever we need your help in spreading the word. Visit our store and we will add a free gift card and limited edition print to all orders. Through the experience of losing everything and rebuilding, I am realizing the endless possibilities and the powerful voice of inspiration living deep within my soul. And I believe Mother Teresa knew what she was talking about! Read more in my blog. Give the greatest gift this holiday season, our ocean! Dive into our imagination store!

Ghost Pipefish? Can their be such a thing? The ocean is full of whacky and wild critters. Look closesly at the fish to the right. Can you see the eye? What about the gill plate? I will give you a hint, it is the scale looking plate to the left of the eye. And check out this fishes skin, what is that growing all over its body? Check out the video to learn more! |
Studying the ocean is Rick MacPherson's calling. Exporting is often the most confusing part of the whole filmmaking process, at least from what I've noticed with beginners. With so many export settings, formats, and aspect ratio's out there,it gets a bit overwhelming. So I have a tip for you. Look! |
This has been a sad week interning at Mote's Dolphin and Whale Hospital.
During my shift on Sunday, November 23, "Pete," the pygmy killer whale, passed away. Mote has been caring for Pete since he was found stranded in June, and we had hoped to rehabilitate the dolphin and release him back to the wild. Read more.
