The fog rolled into Santa Barbara this week, yet The Viz is clearer
now than ever before. I returned from a week in Las Vegas committed
to the foundation of Dive Into Your Imagination and encouraging
others to help create a transformation of our planet. Our youth is
40% of our population and 100% of our future. It is up to us to
guide, educate, entertain, and lead our children to create our future
world. I spoke to a select group of students and then Science
Educators hoping to empower and encourage us to reach together and
not give up as everyone is faced with budget cuts, overcrowded
classrooms and a future that we are unsure of.
The UN has predicted that our next World Wars will not be about oil,
they will be about water. I have been sitting on this statement for
a few weeks and it has empowered me to speak my voice and share my
knowledge in a way like never before. I believe in the future, yet
the inconvenient truths of our planet, climate change and growing
population needs to be addressed. We live our lives with pictures
formed in our childhood of what life is supposed to be like and yet,
this is not necessarily what unfolded.
What we manifest, dream and desire is what happens. What are you
dreaming about? Something happens in many of our lives somewhere
between Kindergarten and Fifth Grade and we lose our imagination and
creativity. We need to bring these back for what we manifest and
dream about today is what will happen in our future. Just think
about James Bond and the Jetson's cartoon. James Bond had gadgets
like cell phones and GPS, just like every person has today. The
Jetson's had video telephones, hello SKYPE! What ideas can we dream
today that will bring us back to health and balance. I see an ocean
of possibilities within the more than 6 billion people living on our
planet, yet we need to work together! I believe The Viz has been
pretty bad for awhile, yet I can see clearly now as the sun burns the
fog away. Read more in my blog.
My Mom Harriet wins top saleswoman of the year as she worked my booth
at DEMA for four straight days and then danced with Neil Diamond at
