 On August 28, 2010, this sixteen year-old completed her first century ride in support of Fisher House Foundation.
Over the course of the summer, Becca C. rode 960 training miles in preparation for the Hotter'n Hell Hundred in Wichita Falls, TX, the world's largest one-day 100-mile bike race. Through her Team Fisher House campaign, Becca raised $1,625 for the Foundation. Becca is a true Champion for Military Families!
Team Fisher House is not just for runners - anyone can use the program to raise awareness and funds for Fisher House online!

Volunteers Needed to Support Team Fisher House at the 2010 Marine Corps Marathon

Team Fisher House has 280 fundraisers running the Marine Corps Marathon or MCM10K in Washington, D.C. on October 31, 2010.Volunteers are truly the heart and soul of the team. With such a small staff, Fisher House Foundation depends heavily on the generosity of volunteers to support the team in so many ways:- Mile Markers (TFH Cheering Squad along the race course - 100 needed)
- Water Point Volunteers (50 needed)

Supporting Fisher House Foundation financially is important, but volunteering your time can be even more meaningful. Each Fisher House is independently operated by the military branch or VA Medical Center where it is located. If you live near a Fisher House, why not contact the manager to see if there is anything you can do to help?It could be something as simple as weeding the flower beds or painting a wall. Preparing a meal for the guests could be a great way to show your support. The possibilities are endless!
