Vacation Bible School
Two boys with their arts and crafts project at VBS
We were blessed to have a team from Ohio come and run our VBS, "Heroes of the Bible."  Where 80 children learned about heroes such as David and Goliath, Joseph and the coat of many colors, Shadrach, Meschah, and Abednigo, and most importantly about Jesus Christ and salvation through Him.  Additionally, the group was able to take the children on two field trips to local museums.

If you are interested in bringing a group down to run our summer Vacation Bible School, please contact us at pandevidaecuador@gmail.com
Summer Soccer Camp 2009
Soccer Camp 2009This was our second annual soccer camp for boys and girls this summer.  We value this outreach because the kids not only spend time in God's word at each camp session, but they also learn valuable team work skills, are getting good exercise, and learn how to problem solve and work together.

We are always looking for groups that might want to come down and help us run this camp during the summer.  Please contact us if you are intestered pandevidaecuador@gmail.com
Health Fair 2009

Nurses and Doctors look at the health of our beneficiariesThis was also our second annual health fair.  We were able to screen for high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, malnutrition, vision, and anemia this year. We are now treating 7 children under the age of 4 for anemia.  We have over 40 school age children who are in need of glasses, 10 of them who are in urgent need of glasses.  We did free pap smears in 38 ladies, all of which needed medication for infections, three who need further evaluation for serious conditions at a local hospital.

We are looking for medical and dental teams to come down.  We urgently need a team of eye doctors to help us get glasses for these kids, as well as teams to help with our annual health fair in the summer 2010. If you are interested in brining a medical team down, please contact us at pandevidaecuador@gmail.com
Summer Missions Teams - Construction
Missions team that came to build a section of our wall
In addition to the team that came down to help us with VBS,  we were extremely blessed to have several summer mission teams who came down to help us paint, fix the house up and construct another section of our wall.
Now Pan de Vida has an whole new look for this new term!

For Summer 2010 we are in need of teams to finish building the wall around Pan de Vida as well as a teams to help with some construction around the house.  If you are interested in bringing a team down to do construction projects please contact us at pandevidaecuador@gmail.com
