Leadership and Emotional Intelligence
Does leadership need emotional intelligence? This topic was
recently broached by School of Business Administration Management Professor
Marie T. Dasborough in an article published in The Leadership Quarterly. "Emotional intelligence has become very
popular in the management consulting world," says Dasborough, "but the problem
in the academic world is that there is no proper measurement for emotional
intelligence and we need to measure properly before we can say it has an impact
