Research Update: CEO Disclosure and Securities Law
How private should a business leader's private life be?  As investors increasingly demand more information, questions regarding if and how much of a CEO's private life a company should disclose become important.  In a paper entitled, "Intentional Fallacy and the CEO: Disclosure at the Intersection of Privacy and Securities Law," business law professors Patricia Sanchez Abril and Ann Olazbal argue that faulty reasoning is being applied by investors and others trying to forecast the success of companies by scrutinizing the private lives of their leaders.

White Paper: Service Leadership
A. ParasuramanMaintaining a sustainable competitive environment is becoming increasingly more difficult.  It is simply not enough to produce a product or service and sell it to your customers. Establishing lasting relationships with customers is the key to success.  One must become a leader in the realm of services in order to compete in the markets of today.  One of the key measurements of service excellence, SERQUAL, was developed by A. Parasuraman, holder of the James W. McLamore Chair, professor of marketing, and a faculty member associated with the Leadership Institute.

A new Leadership Institute white paper discusses the SERQUAL and how it can translate into service leadership. Click here to read this white paper and others on a variety of topics.
