Free Battery Buckets & New Drop of Locations for Universal Waste

The City of Irvine has launched a pilot recycling program that offers convenient drop-off locations for universal waste, which includes batteries, cell phones, compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs and other electronics that may not be thrown in the trash.

AB 341 Requires Mandatory Commercial Recycling
|
Businesses or public entities that subscribe to a service of 4 cubic yards or more of solid waste per week must recycle. Multifamily dwellings of five units or more must also recycle.
