Success Tips!
Greetings!

Welcome to another edition of my newsletter,

"Success Tips!"

Thanksgiving is this week which marks the official begining of the holiday season and signals the coming end of the year.

"Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation."
-Brian Tracy

6 Ways to Add Value to your Clients for the Holidays

As an entrepreneur or small business owner, take stock of the many blessings your clients have given you. Now is the time to reach out and ensure their continued loyalty into the next year. Here are a couple of ideas to help you do it;

  • Send holiday thank you cards and write a short note. Taking the time to write and send the card [NO EMAIL!] signifies your gratitude and the client's worth to your business.
  • Mail out client only discounts with the thank you card. Be generous and give more than 10% off - what is it to lose 20% on a sale but gain 100% customer loyalty?
  • Add a bonus to a current client project or job. Adding value will only strengthen your relationship with the client, increase loyalty, and give them something to brag to others about.
  • Feature your clients on your website - be creative, start a resource page or a featured projects page of your site with the goal to increase traffic to your client's.
  • Send your clients a gift. It doesn't have to be anything expensive, a simple Amazon gift card with $20 bucks on it would be nice.
  • Create a referral booklet - collect the information of all your clients and organize it in a booklet and mail it out to everyone. Trust me, they'll appreciate you taking the time to try and connect them with each other.
Whatever you do, put your client first and make an effort to personalize your actions. It's this personal touch that will keep them coming back to you and not going to "the big boys" in business.

How [not] to Make Money like a Used Car Salesman
Salesman There's something odd about a used car salesman isn't it? Maybe it's the fact that they have a lot of inventory that they have to get rid of by the end of the year at any means necessary? Maybe it's their fast talking, aggressive sales tactics. Or could it be that they're masters at selling dreams into a half ton box on wheels?
