Golf Tournament Success!
Thanks to all who supported CHGM's
7th Annual "Hope for the Homeless" Golf Tournament. The outing, held October 19 at Glenn Dale Golf Club, raised thousands of dollars to benefit homeless families in Washington.

If you're a golf enthusiast and would like to volunteer on our 2010 planning committee for next year, we want to hear from you!

Again, many thanks.

Greetings!

Please be our guest at one of our many upcoming events. Our efforts to restore hope in the lives of homeless families would not be possible without partners like you. Thanks for your continued support and I hope to see you this fall!

22nd Annual Help the Homeless Walkathon
CHGM is "Stomping Out Homelessness"

CHGM LogoMore than 12,000 people in the Washington area do not have homes - a number that is expected to grow under current economic conditions. More than 40% are families with about 1 out of 4 persons being children.

Capitol Hill Group Ministry (CHGM) is "Stomping Out Homelessness" by raising awareness, providing stable housing, offering support services, and by walking in Fannie Mae's community-wide walkathon.

The Walkathon preregistration fee is $15 for youth (age 25 and younger) and $25 for adults.

Our goal is to recruit 500 walkers for the event. With your help we can achieve this goal and earn a $5,000 incentive award from Fannie Mae!

Christmas Adopt-A-Family Program
A Season for Sharing & Caring

Capitol Hill Group Ministry partners with local neighbors and congregations to provide gifts for moms and children in need at Christmas time. This annual event brings families together in a special way. Join past sponsors like Unity of Washington, E*Trade, St. Peter's Church, St. Mark's Episcopal, Christ Church, and many others as we "serve the community, one neighbor at a time." Your gift at Christmas will bring lasting memories to a homeless child for many years to come.
