Fryslân Valley Sport Horses is a Dutch owned & operated facility that believes in preserving the 130 year old heritage of the Dutch Friesian to the standards encouraged by the Royal Dutch Friesian Association - THE KFPS.  

We have over 30 years of experience training a multitude of breeds, but our emphasis is on the Friesian and Dutch Warmblood.

Arnold Warmels, the owner/trainer at Fryslan Valley, is known for his patience, quiet guidance, and discipline to assist owners who encounter problems with their horses, no matter the breed or discipline.  Whether it be ground  manners, or in the saddle, Arnold has the knowledge and initiative to relax and guide the horse back to the path of willingness and learning.

We believe in the education of all horses, in our care, through Dressage and Carriage driving, to make the the most well rounded sports competitor.  This, in turn, gives the owner enjoyment to the athletic ability of each individual horse.  We are a facility that welcomes the disciplined rider who wants to continue their riding education in a progressive educational environment.

Horses in our training program have been awarded with USEF, IFSHA, and Feathered Horse Classic Championship titles, just to name a few.
