Help Give a Child a Christmas Wish.
Last year we were able to give the gift of Christmas Spirit to over 50 children who are clients of Aunt Martha's. Children living in the foster & group homes as well as the children who ended up spending the holidays at the temporary childrens shelter downtown.
We have partnered with Aunt Martha's Youth Services again this year and are asking our customers, friends & family to help us bring the sprirt of Chirstmas to a few children. Can you or a group from your office sponsor a child or give a generic gift for a child at the shelter?

How Much Did that Paper Cost? 
I recently had a customer tell me that they could get a case of copy paper from Sam's Club for $1.99 less than what we were selling it for. I pointed out that we extend 30 days to pay and deliver it FREE, but the customer decided to have one of their employees run to Sam's Club to get the paper. On the way back from Sam's Club, the employee was involved in a fender bender. Now the customer saved $1.99 on the paper but is involved in car insurance and workmen's comp issues. As he put's it "That was the most expensive paper I ever bought!"
Lesson Learned: Take into account everything that goes into the purchasing of the product - price, time, salaries, payment terms, delivery, receiving. Sometimes what seems like you are saving money really ends up costing you way more. | |
