Dear Friends
The rising energy of Spring reminds us that once again the earth is entering into a new cycle - and so are we. This is the time of year in the northern hemisphere when we make our new beginnings, and this year there is so much which is new. Huge adjustments are taking place in the lives of nations and of individuals, as we continue together to navigate our way through deep systemic changes to our way of life on this planet.
When old structures crumble, light can shine through the cracks, and there is a lot of light shining these days. So many people are waking up to the need to grow into who they truly are, to live out their potential, and to respond to the rising tide of awareness which is leading to a new awakening and to a "new We".
There is so much that we can do together. More and more the Wrekin Trust is connecting, converging and co-creating with associates who are also part of this great movement towards the light. We are discovering new ways of working together, of experiencing the collaborative flow of spirit amongst us.
Each Spring we remember that there is death - but there is also resurrection, on a higher turn of the spiral.

Message from Janice
This was a keynote introduced by David Lorimer (Wrekin Trust President) at a recent grouping of 35 leaders of spiritual organisations to 'connect, converge and co-create' that we convened as part of this UN Year of Collaboration, during which there does seem to be a genuine movement towards synthesis and unification of diversity.
As our consciousness evolves and our 'reception of its truth' expands, so we find our own perspective on life expanding to embrace much more of all that is and find that the impulse to 'transcend and include' in heart-based ways is a theme of our times.
This impulse leads us to embrace both the light and the dark, the masculine and the feminine, those who walk with us and those who seem to deny the way of love. It also includes integrating the inner and the outer as we shift from being 'mystics in a monastery' to being 'mystics in the market place'. For it is in the market place that we need to serve as 'organs of activity' of this One of which we are all a part. If we can do this in attunement to Life's flow then subtly, silently, as with yeast in the dough ... the consciousness of the whole will surely rise.

 The Challenge of Rudolf Steiner
A major awakening for Sir George Trevelyan took place when he first encountered the ideas of Rudolf Steiner. These had a transformative effect upon his later work and led to the eventual foundation of the Wrekin Trust.
The unique insights and research of Rudolf Steiner into subjects such as education, medicine and agriculture have long been a source of wonder and inspiration. Since his death in 1925, Steiner's vision has grown in both relevance and urgency, yet there are many people still unaware of his life and work.

Teen Spirit by Lindsay Ullmann,

This is a new book for teenagers which may be of particular interest to young friends or relatives, and is ideal for use in secondary schools for all levels of RE or PSHE lessons. Named after a song by Nirvana, the book sets out to help today's teenagers to become more aware of their feelings, their senses, and their creative and spiritual side. There are over twenty contributors to the book, which includes the views, thoughts and experiences of teenagers themselves, and stories generously shared by many adults, including Christians, a Pagan, a Muslim, a Hindu, a Buddhist, and several people of no religious faith.
Lindsay, the author, explains: "I researched and wrote Teen Spirit to give teenagers the confidence to be themselves and find their passion and purpose in life. I believe that within all of us lies a unique, creative human being."
